If we put our hope in people, they're going to disappoint us every time. However, if our hope and relational needs are met by God, then we get to be in a whole different type of relationship with people. We end up feeling grateful for the things our friends do, rather than entitled.

What choices are you making instead of a community? What are the unhealthy and unhelpful things you choose to go to instead of people? Start noticing those things.

Our hope is that you're going to go out and have actual things to take with you and to apply. These are questions you can ask yourself or bring up over dinner this week with your friends.
